THREE JUVENILES ARRESTED AFTER SHOTS FIRED NEXT TO WEST TOWN MALL IN KNOXVILLE
Police officers in Knoxville say three juvenile males were arrested last night after shots were fired in the immediate area of West Town Mall close to Belk.
Authorities say one of the juveniles, a 15-year-old, had a loaded handgun that was reported stolen and marijuana.
The other two teens were stopped by police after brief foot pursuits.
One of the 16-year-olds was found to have a loaded handgun and possible burglary tools.
The other 16-year-old was charged with evading arrest,
The incident took place around 8:45 p.m.
Police say several individuals were detained by responding officers pending an ongoing investigation.
