THREE STUDENTS INJURED IN WHITE COUNTY SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT

The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded to the corner of Breeding Drive and Moore Street near White County High School yesterday around 3 p.m. to a vehicle accident.
Troopers say a 2009 Thomas school bus operated by 72-year-old Cynthia M. Haney was traveling east on Breeding Drive and attempted to make a right turn onto Moore Street. The bus struck a concrete curb.
School officials notified the parents of the students on board of the incident.
Three students, ages 12, 15, and 16, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Highlands Medical Center.
The remaining students were transported home on another bus.
