TIM FRENCH PLANNING DISPLAY FOR MEMORIAL DAY AT CROSSSVILLE NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY
Tim French, who is well known in Crossville for walking nearly every day with an American flag to honor veterans, is planning a special event for Memorial Day (Monday, May 31, 2021).
It will be at the National Guard Armory in Crossville with times to be announced soon.
Photos of all the veterans Tim has honored of will be displayed in the armory as well as statues and dog tags representing each service member.
The first two hours of the event (9 until 11 a.m. central) will be for family members of the veterans. After that time has concluded, the general public will be allowed to come in from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. central.
There is no charge for the event.
“This is a great way to recognize the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to the ones serving in our armed forces today,” said French.
