ARRESTS MADE IN HOME BURGLARY INCIDENT

Fairfield Glade Police went to a residence on Anglewood Drive yesterday for a burglary in progress. A 16-year-old female inside the dwelling told the subject she was there and was calling the police. The juvenile also stated to officers she was advised by subject that he was there to evict them and change the locks. The suspect, later identified as 52-year-old Roger J. Huettner of Rugby Road, allegedly attempted to make entry by prying on the door after being advised to leave the property. Neighbors also reportedly witnessed this incident and gave statements to investigating officers. Huettner left the scene prior to law enforcements arrival. An investigation was conducted and upon interview, Huettner stated he was working for the owner of the property and was asked to change the locks. The investigation revealed the property owner, Salvatore Grasso of Rugby Road, after being given direction by law enforcement in November to seek a court order to evict his tenant, did not have the proper court documents to evict the tenant. Officers say Huettner is a sex offender with a conviction of first-degree sexual assault of a child. Huettner was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and transported to the Cumberland County jail. Grasso being the property owner and employing Huettner as a handyman, was arrested for criminal responsibility. Both subjects have a pending court date of May 10, 2021.
