TN OFFICIALS ASKING EVERYONE TO WAIT ANOTHER DAY TO BURN LEAF OR BRUSH PILES

The Burn Ban has been lifted for Tennessee. However, Debris Burn Permits will not be issued again today out of an abundance of caution to allow our firefighters to catch a breath following yesterday’s activity and to prepare for the next forecasted dry spell. Please hold off another day to burn your leaf or brush pile.
A reminder that a burn permit is not required for campfires, bonfires, or firepits. Always check local restrictions set by your municipal government or fire department.
