TOYOTA RECALLS NEARLY 127,000 VEHICLES FOR DEBRIS IN THE ENGINE
Toyota is recalling nearly 127,000 vehicles—primarily 2022-2024 Tundra pickups along with 2022-2024 Lexus LX and 2024 Lexus GX models equipped with V35A engines—due to manufacturing debris that can contaminate the engine, potentially causing main bearing failure, engine stalling, or loss of drive power and raising crash risk.
This recall expands on a prior action last year that affected over 102,000 Tundras and Lexus LX vehicles for the same issue.
Toyota is still developing a remedy and will notify owners to bring their vehicles in for free repairs once the fix is ready.
