Ongoing construction, paving and maintenance in both directions of Interstate 40 on Rockwood Mountain are resulting in major traffic back ups in both directions.  Traffic detouring off of I40 and on to US Highway 70 will result in heavier than normal congestion between Westel and Rockwood.
