A commercial vehicle accident on Watts Bar Highway (State Highway 68) at the Basil Fugate Road intersection has reduced traffic to a single lane in Rhea County. The Rhea County Sheriff’s Office reported no injuries resulting from the crash.

Emergency responders are currently at the scene directing traffic around the wreckage. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution when traveling through the area. Authorities noted that the highway may experience temporary, complete closures as crews and towing companies work to clear the scene.
