TRAFFIC STOP TURNS INTO METH ARREST FOR CROSSVILLE MAN
Early Wednesday morning, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on Cow Pen Road at Sandy Creek. The driver, 22-year-old Trevor William Mackie of Crossville, told deputies he doesn’t have a valid license. A search of Mackie’s person revealed a syringe and a baggie with approximately four tenths of a gram of meth. Mackie was charged with simple possession of a Schedule II narcotic and cited for driving on a suspended license.
