TRIAL OF OVERTON COUNTY DOCTOR CHARGED WITH VIOLATION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE ACT DELAYED
The trial for an Overton County doctor charged with violating the Controlled Substances Act has been postponed. Officials say 66-year-old Gilbert Ross Ghearing of Livingston was a former physician and owner of a family medical practice in Celina. Ghearing was charged back in May 2019 and arrested at his practice in Celina by federal agents. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a 1 million dollar fine.
