A Wind Advisory is in effect from 9 PM Tuesday to 3 PM CST Wednesday for portions of Middle Tennessee, including the Cumberland Plateau. South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Tuesday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 10pm, then rain showers. Low around 33. Windy, with a southeast wind 5 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 30 mph. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Wednesday: Showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51. Windy, with a south southeast wind 30 to 35 mph becoming west southwest 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Chance of rain is 70 percent.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of sprinkles before 10pm, then a slight chance of sprinkles and flurries between 10pm and 11pm, then a slight chance of flurries after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Thursday: A slight chance of flurries, mixing with sprinkles after 11am, then gradually ending. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Wind gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.
