The Tennessee Valley Authority is planning a power outage that will affect Plateau Electric Cooperative members. This temporary outage will begin Saturday night (December 14, 2019) at 11:59 p.m. and will last approximately two hours.

TVA will be repairing a switch on the 69 kV line between Sunbright and Wartburg and due to the risk associated with the job, the entire substation will be de-energized. TVA crews will restore the power as quickly and safely as possible.

Morgan County areas affected include Deer Lodge, Chestnut Ridge, Burrville, Rugby, Coon Hollow, Glades area, and Meister Hills.
