TWO ARRESTED FOLLOWING HIGH-SPEED CHASE FROM OAK RIDGE TO OLIVER SPRINGS
Two from Anderson County face charges following a high-speed chase this past weekend from Oak Ridge to Oliver Springs. Officers spotted a vehicle matching the description of one that fled from authorities last month. A rolling roadblock finally brought the chase to a stop. Officers took the driver, 24-year-old Samson Prater of Clinton, into custody for reckless driving, evading arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Prater was also cited for numerous traffic violations. A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year-old Marissa McCormick, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Anderson County. Both were taken to the Anderson County Jail.
