CROSSVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED TWICE IN 48 HOURS ON DRUG CHARGES
A Crossville woman was arrested twice by police officers in a 48 hour period on drug charges. Officers observed a vehicle pull into a residence early Saturday morning on Town Loop displaying the wrong registration. The report states a passenger, 22-year-old Taylor Nicole Smith, had her hand over her front pockets and acting nervous. Officers reportedly found a small container on her allegedly containing meth. She was arrested and taken to jail. Before a court appearance on that arrest, police would encounter Smith again yesterday as Smith was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Miller Bypass for an out of date temporary tag. As with the first arrest, Smith reportedly favored her pocket. A search allegedly revealed meth. She was charged with manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs and returned to jail.
