Rockwood police, fire, and an EMS Unit were sent to the intersection of Tarwater Street and South Kingston Avenue Tuesday night just after 8:00 p.m. where a vehicle ran off the road and into a ditch.

According to the report from officer Chance York, when officers arrived on the scene they located a tan Cadillac Deville in the ditch and one person outside identified as 43-year-old Jon Rollins. He told authorities he and the driver, identified as 55-year-old James Pass were both uninjured.

Rockwoods K-9 was called to the scene to check out the vehicle for possible illegal drugs. According to the report, some drug paraphernalia was found and Jon Rollins was cited for simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. James Pass was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, and financial responsibility law/no insurance on the vehicle.
