WOMAN ARRESTED FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION AFTER ALLEGEDLY DOING METH 3 DAYS AGO

Crossville city officers were dispatched to the area of Lantana Road and Old Mail Road on Wednesday for a possible intoxicated female.

When officers arrived, they observed a female laying on her side in a field making very exaggerated movements with her arms and legs. The female was identified as 41-year-old Carolyn Troxel. When the officer spoke with Ms. Troxel, he stated she was unsteady on her feet and was swaying in a circular motion. When trying to perform an HGN test, the officer stopped for her safety.

After placing her in custody for her and the public’s safety, she alleged to the officers that she had done “a bunch” of methamphetamine at a party approximately three days ago and was still feeling the effects.

She was charged with Public Intoxication.
