TWO FATALITIES REPORTED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 127 IN BLEDSOE COUNTY

The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms two individuals died in a vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in Bledsoe County. Troopers say the crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer took place on Highway 127 and Ninemile Cross Road (between Pikeville and the Bledsoe/Cumberland County line). Troopers say 50-year-old Michael “Blake” Lee and 37-year-old Tara Rasdall, both of Pikeville, died in the accident. The tractor-trailer driver, 36-year-old Kelvin Anderson of Savannah, Georgia, was not hurt in the crash
