TWO LOCAL SOFTBALL PLAYERS NAMED NFCA/EASTERN ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETES
Twelve members of the Trevecca Nazarene University softball team made the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Easton All-American Scholar-Athlete team for the 2018-2019 academic year.
This includes local students:
Raygn Hall of Kingston was named to the team. Hall is a graduate of Midway High School. At Trevecca, Hall is studying business
Cali Norrod of Crossville was named to the team. Norrod is a graduate of Homelife Academy. At Trevecca, Norrod is studying Worship Arts
For the 2018-2019 campaign, the Trevecca Trojans finished 11th in all of NCAA Div. II with a 3.620 cumulative grade point average. Trevecca claimed the highest team GPA among Great Midwest teams and was also highest among Nazarene institutions.
To be eligible student-athletes must earn a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and hold a sophomore or higher academic classification.
