TWO MEN ARRESTED IN KINGSTON AFTER THREATENING JUVENILE WITH GUN

The Kingston Police Department was sent to the area of 933 Rosedale Avenue Tuesday afternoon following a call from a juvenile near 933 Rosedale Avenue that two male subjects were seen brandishing firearms and having ski masks on. The two were identified as Brandon Phillips and Isaac Collins.

According to the report from Kingston PD Captain Keith Kyle, he approached the two subjects and one began to flee after his commands to stop. Kyle stated he took him to the ground and detained him after seeing him with a weapon on him.

He also noticed another one with an air pistol which stopped after his commands. Roane County Deputy Capt. Wes Stooksbury arrived to assist. The report stated that they both were detained. The two men were following the juvenile who called the police and she felt threatened as they were asking for her to get her older sister to come and speak with them, brandishing a weapon at her as well.

Following the investigation, both Isaac Collins and Brandon Phillips were taken into custody. Both were charged with four counts each of aggravated assault and one count of assault. One had a 9mm handgun the other an air pistol.

The two were allegedly staying at the Super 8 motel, according to the report. Collins and Phillips were both taken to jail, Phillips has been released but Collins remains in jail.
