TWO TEENS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER KNOXVILLE SHOOTING

Around 7:15 PM Saturday, a Knoxville officer was dispatched to a home on Houston Street after receiving a call of a reported shooting.

According to the police report, the victim told the officer that her mother had called her to warn her about the two suspects before they arrived. 19-year-old Adarius Montez Thomas and 19-year-old  Alexis Michelle Page arrived at the woman’s house a short time later and began honking their horn.  The two suspects and the victim reportedly got into an argument that ended with Page telling Thomas to shoot.

The officer said they were able to review some security camera footage of the incident, and said they heard around 13 gunshots come from the suspects. The officer also stated they found seven bullet casings on the street and several bullet holes in the front of the victim’s home, and a car that was parked outside.

Thomas and Page were charged with attempted second-degree murder.
