TWO WHITE COUNTY DEPUTIES EARN AWARDS FOR SAVING TRAPPED FARMER

From the White County Sheriff’s Office:

Today, Sheriff Steve Page and the White County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognized Deputy Dillard Dodson and Deputy Kyle Elliott with the Life Saver Award for their heroic actions.
The deputies responded to a call involving a local farmer who had become trapped in a hay baler that was running on the back of a tractor. Deputy Dodson physically lifted up the rear gate while Deputy Elliott pulled the man to safety. Their quick thinking, teamwork, and courage saved the gentlemen’s life.
Please join us in congratulating Deputies Dodson and Elliott for their bravery and dedication to protecting the people of White County.
