TWO YORK INSTITUTE FOOTBALL PLAYERS DISCIPLINED FOLLOWING FIGHT DURING GAME
The Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association (TSSAA) says two high school football players from York Institute and one from East Robertson must sit out the next football game following a fight last Friday night.
York Institute played East Robertson in the state semifinals when a fight broke out during the 4th quarter.
The player from East Robertson must sit out the state title game tomorrow night. The two from York Institute will not participate in the first game of next season.
The Jamestown Police Department says no charges have been filed.
The names of the players were not initially released.
