TYPICAL SUMMER WEATHER

We will continue with a typical summertime weather pattern through Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the low to mid-80s with a 30% chance of afternoon and evening thunder showers. The chance of rain will go higher later in the week and into the weekend. We are only halfway through the month and we have already received our normal rainfall for the month of August.

On August 10th and 11th, an official rain gauge on the north side of Lake Tansi picked up an incredible five and a half inches of rain in just two days.

If you’ve been noticing a very bright planet in the evening sky to the East and Southeast, it is the planet Jupiter, it really brightens up the late evening sky. You can reach me anytime at [email protected]
