Afternoon highs across East Tennessee 85 to 90 and then dropping into the 60s at night. Storm chances increase to about 50% by the 4th of July. Very heavy storms blew down trees and produced hail in East Tennessee Friday afternoon but the storms quickly faded away as they approached the plateau.
