TYSON CHICKEN NUGGETS RECALLED DUE TO POSSIBLE RUBBER CONTAMINATION

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced Tyson Foods is issuing a nationwide recall of more than 36,000 pounds of chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with rubber.

The recall was for five-pound plastic packages of Tyson white-meat panko chicken nuggets. The packages carry case code 3308SDL03, time stamps of 23:00 through 01:59 and a “best if used by” date of Nov. 26, 2019.

The USDA inspection mark will also include the establishment number P-13556.

The problem was discovered when Tyson received consumer complaints of “extraneous material” in the panko chicken-nugget products.

No confirmed adverse reactions from the consumption of the affected nuggets have been reported. Refer all concerns about illness to a healthcare provider.

If you have these nuggets in your freezer, throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
