An undercover narcotics investigation has led to the arrest of a Wayne County woman on drug-trafficking charges. On Monday, a search warrant was executed at a home on Bell Street in Monticello, where approximately 74 grams of meth, multiple bags of marijuana and items related to the drug-trafficking trade were seized, along with $1,415 in U.S. currency.

Twenty-two-year-old Erin R. Upchurch of Monticello, Kentucky, was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking in marijuana. Upchurch is being held without bond in the Wayne County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
