A zebra that escaped a week ago in Rutherford County, (now named Ed by his fans) remains at large in a wooded area of Christiana. Search crews have pinpointed his general location and set up trail cameras to monitor him.

A Texas company specializing in wildlife captures will send a crew with a helicopter in the next few days to tranquilize Ed when he enters an open field. The Rutherford County Sheriff and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency are overseeing the situation, and the public is urged not to interfere, as Ed is a smart, aggressive, and powerful wild animal.
