USPS CONDUCTS ANNUAL STAMP OUT HUNGER CAMPAIGN THIS SATURDAY, MAY 11

The United States Postal Service is asking for the public’s help as it embarks on its 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive this Saturday, May 11.

Postal carriers are asking residents of Cumberland County to bag healthful, non-perishable items and leave them by your mailbox for pickup and delivery to local food banks and pantries in your community.

Suggested items include pasta, dry cereal, oatmeal, canola oil, peanut butter and canned goods such as beans, fruit, vegetables, soup, tuna in water, meat and sauce. Please, no glass containers.

Alternatively, you may drop off non-perishable food items in the bin inside the lobby at the Crossville Post Office, at 240 Old Jamestown Highway.
