VANDERBILT GOAL POST PIECES AUCTIONED OFF AFTER WIN OVER ALABAMA
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — After Vanderbilt’s historic win over No. 1 Alabama, pieces of the goal post are now being auctioned off for thousands of dollars.
On Saturday, Vanderbilt won 40-35 against the top-ranked college football team, ending with fans storming to the field and taking the goal post all the way to the Cumberland River.
Now, parts of the goal post are up for auction. The 4-inch piece of the field goal sold out for $1,005, but Vandy fans can still buy an 8-inch piece of the field goal crossbar for $4,035.
Other items being auctioned off include a personalized game helmet and a personalized game ball.
