VICTIMS OF BARKU PLASTICS SHOOTING IDENTIFIED; SHOOTER DEAD
In Cleveland, Tennessee, a double homicide occurred at Barku Plastics on Monday shortly after 9:20 a.m. Central on Corporate Drive off Industrial Drive SW.
The victims, identified by the Cleveland Police Department as Tobias Glenig and Ivan Aldergot, were found dead at the plant; Aldergot was the company’s vice president, while Glenig’s role is still being confirmed.
The suspect, believed to be a former employee of the injection molding plastics manufacturer, fled the scene and barricaded himself in a home in Bradley County. Law enforcement deployed two robotic devices to enter the residence, where they discovered the suspect dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suspect’s identity remains unreleased pending confirmation from the Bradley County Medical Examiner’s Office.
