Today, two scammers physically walked into a small, local business in Ooltewah, TN, claiming to be VEC representatives and demanding payment. The two individuals were male and told the owner that VEC had not received their payment. The scammers also told the owner to go to Circle K to get a same day payment and call it in or else they would shut their power off. The men said to contact their supervisor Jonathan at 806-497-4251.

To all VEC members, please beware of this fraudulent act, and do not fall victim to these criminals. Law enforcement has been contacted, and we will update this post with additional information as it becomes available.
