Walter Busby, Jr., age 76, of Crossville, passed away March 17, 2021. He was born August 17, 1944. He was the former owner of Crossville Heating and Air and later worked several years with Action Heating and Cooling. He was also a United States Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Marsha Busby; daughters: Sonia Durham (Robert) and Stacie Sherrill, both of Cookeville; brother: Ricky Luten (Barbara) of Georgia; sisters: Bobbie Yates and Linda Brown, both of Kentucky; and grandchildren: Stephen Sherrill, Scott Sherrill, Zack Durham (Meghan) and Sam Durham (Olivia). He was preceded in death by his father: Walter Busby Sr.; mother: Opal Smothers; and brother: Wayne Busby. Memorial services will be held Saturday March 20, 2021 at 3 p.m. central at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
