WARREN COUNTY WILDFIRE CONTAINED AFTER GROWING TO OVER 200 ACRES

The Isha wildfire in Warren County grew to over 200 acres after winds whipped up from 40 to 50 mph Tuesday Afternoon.  Officials reported that the fire appears to be under control after water drops from Tennessee National Guard Blackhawk helicopters and after Tuesday afternoon’s rainfall.

Some firefighters, Warren County Sheriffs deputies, a TEMA mobile command station and some other first responders will remain on the scene for the time being.

Robert Vincent Halter has been arrested on charges believed to be related to starting the fire.

Authorities say they do not believe that anyone was injured by the fire and no structures were destroyed.
