Waymon Randolph Jr., 78

Waymon Randolph Jr., also known as “Bug”, passed away at his home on March 31, 2025.

Bug loved his country and proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He later worked as a Machinist for Y-12 and TVA. He enjoyed woodworking and local flea markets.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Waymon Randolph Sr. and Maggie Bennett Randolph; brothers, James Randolph, Charles Randolph, Johnny Randolph, Buddy Randolph, and Sam Randolph; sisters, Eva Anderson, Louise Lowe, Reba Brown, and Mae Randolph.

He is survived by his son, Mark Randolph and his wife Stephanie; sister, Sue Green; grandchildren, Summer Vandergriff and her husband James, Mark Randolph; great-grandchildren, Delilah Rose Vandergriff and Beau William Vandergriff; special nephew, James Brown “Bones”; also by other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, 2:00PM at Indian Bluff Cemetery in Briceville.
