Wayne County, Kentucky deputies charged a female yesterday for burglary. Officers responded to a home on 75 Circle Point Drive in the Jabez community for a burglary complaint. Upon arrival and speaking with the homeowner deputies learned that several items had been taken from the residence and an outside building. After investigating the incident, officers charged and arrested 51-year-old Dee Anna Sumpter of Nancy, Kentucky for 3^rd degree burglary and receiving stolen property under $10,000. All of the stolen items were returned to the victim. Sumpter was taken to the Wayne County Detention Center.
