The Tennessee Department of Health said in their report released this afternoon there are 9,189 (up 463 cases from yesterday, largest one day jump since outbreak started in Tennessee) total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state. Officials say as of today (April 25, 2020), 178 died, 821 had to be hospitalized and 4,467 recovered.

The Tennessee Department of Health defines “recovered” as people who (1) have been confirmed to be asymptomatic by their local or regional health department and have completed their required isolation period or (2) are at least 21 days beyond the first test confirming their illness.
