WEATHER CAUSES MAIN WATER BREAK IN LENOIR CITY

(DEVELOPING STORY) – Lenoir City Mayor Tony Aikens said this morning the weather caused a main water break at their water plant.

“We have experienced a main water break at the water plant because of weather related conditions. I would encourage you to conserve water over the next several hours. You may expect little or low water pressure, particularly in the downtown area. We have crews on scene working diligently to repair the break. Thank you for your cooperation,” said Mayor Aikens.

He added little or low water pressure should be expected, especially in the downtown area. Crews are on the scene to repair the break and it should be fixed by nightfall.
