Showers will be possible on Thursday with locations along the plateau seeing a rain/snow mix or even all snow depending on the amount of dynamic cooling we can achieve. The surface cooling Thursday night should allow more locations to see at least a rain/snow mix if not purely snow. As conditions warm on Friday, the snow flakes will become less numerous. The upper low should finally move east of our area late Friday with some snow showers lingering on the plateau Friday night. Any snow accumulations will be light with only up to a dusting expected at this point – with that confined to plateau locations.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain showers before 3am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: A chance of snow showers before 3pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
