ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 61 between Bill Key Lane and Old Batley Road: Motorists should be alert for possible daily lane closures during daylight hours through this construction project. BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 162 Pellissippi Parkway between Cusick Road and SR 33: SR 162 is reduced from two lanes to one through this project as construction crews perform bridge work in this area. Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily, as needed, for blasting operations. BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 33 between East Street and Lincoln Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures during daylight hours as crews perform curb ramp repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 35 between East Broadway Avenue and Ellis Avenue: Through February 28, 2026, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform drainage structure replacements. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129/ SR 115 Tail of the Dragon: Due to the one lane condition of Interstate 40 near the Tennessee and North Carolina State Line as repairs continue from Hurricane Helene, this is a reminder for commercial vehicles in Tennessee and North Carolina attempting to use US 129 as an alternate around the I-40 work zone. No trucks with trailers over 30 feet in length, or single units over 30 feet in length are permitted on US 129 “The Dragon” in Tennessee or North Carolina. Thru truck traffic in Tennessee should follow I-81 North to I-26 East into North Carolina. These restrictions of US 129 will be strictly enforced day and night.

BRADLEY COUNTY SR-60 widening from the 4-lane north of I-75 (LM 17.2) to SR-306 (LM19.9): During this reporting period, the contractor will perform punch list work on SR-60 in Bradley County. Intermittent lane closures may be necessary while work occurs.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Marker 446 and North Carolina State Line: I-40 East is reduced to 1 lane between Mile Marker 446 in Tennessee and Mile Marker 7 in North Carolina due to damage sustained during Hurricane Helene. Traffic wider than 8 ½ feet is prohibited through this area. Wide Loads should follow I-81 North to I-26 East or I-77 South. This area remains a heavily active construction zone as permanent repairs continue. Motorists should be alert for workers and construction equipment entering and exiting the roadway in this work zone. Motorists should be alert that there are areas with no shoulders, and no emergency pull-off locations through this work zone. There are no services in this area. COFFEE COUNTY I-24 (MM 117) construction of an overpass carrying Wattendorf Memorial Highway/AEDC Road, including grading, drainage, retaining walls, and paving: Drivers can expect short-term flagging operations for trucks entering and exiting the work zone on Wattendorf Highway. COFFEE COUNTY I-24 TDOT Bridge Maintenance westbound at MM 100.2: On 03/02/2026 and 03/03/2026 from 8 PM to 3 AM, bridge repair will be repairing the bridge end of an overpass at I-24 WB 100.2. Traffic control will have the fast lane closed with THP assistance.

COFFEE COUNTY I-24 TDOT Contractor both directions from MM 111.2 to MM 110.8: On March 1st from 8 PM-5 AM, the contractor will close 1 lane of traffic in each direction so that they can take a roadway pavement core on I-24 inside the shoulder area.

COFFEE COUNTY SR-55 construction from First Avenue (LM 2.0) to SR-16 (US-41A, N. Jackson St, LM 2.6) in Tullahoma: Phase 2 of roadway widening and bridge replacement on SR-55 (Wilson Ave.) will continue this week. CUMBERLAND AND FENTRESS COUNTY SR-28 (US-127) widening from near N. Lowe Rd (LM 29.2) to north of SR-62 (LM 1.9): The contractor has shifted traffic to phase 2 on the newly constructed portions of SR-28 LM 0.90 to 1.98 in Fentress County. Work will proceed on the existing alignment of SR-28. Flaggers are being used intermittently as needed to control traffic through the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, be aware of new traffic signs and pavement markings, and watch for construction equipment and personnel throughout the project.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-24 [0-0.16] from Putnam County Line to C189 bridge repair: The contractor has started working on the bridge repair on I-40 at MM 304.6 or SR-24 at LM 0.24. The contractor is working behind the guardrail. Once additional work begins, additional lane closures may be necessary. Motorists should use caution in the area.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-24 [15.056-15.56] from Crossville city limits to Seventh-Day Adventist Church and School bridge replacement: The contractor has closed SR-24 at LM 15.06 to LM 15.6. This closure will remain in place for the duration of the project. The posted detour is along SR-462 and SR-1. The Contractor will be working on general clearing activities and utility work initially. Once initial work is completed, the Contractor will proceed with the replacement of the bridge over the Obed River. Motorists should use caution and utilize the posted detour. DEKALB COUNTY SR-26 (US-70) grading, drainage, and construction of retaining walls and paving from near SR-53 (LM 2) to near SR-96 (LM 6.1): The contractor will continue normal working activities throughout the project limits. GREENE COUNTY, US 11E /SR 34 at Snapps Ferry Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times through this bridge repair project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, US 11E/ SR 34 near Depot Street and Jay Bird Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures and brief stoppages by flagging personnel at various times through this construction project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this area.

HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at I-24 Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2: Nightly Lane closures will regularly occur on this project, 9 PM to 6 AM, on I-75 North and South between Exit 1 (East Ridge) and Exit 3A (East Brainerd Road/ SR-320) and on I-24 East and West from Germantown Road to Spring Creek Road, MM182 to MM185, for various construction activities. These closures may temporarily reduce traffic to a single lane. Uniformed police officers will be present in these work zones to assist with traffic management and to enforce traffic laws. Nighttime lane closures from 8 PM to 6 AM are scheduled on I-24 East and West between Germantown Road and through the I-75 interchange for placement of permanent thermoplastic pavement markings, painting/texture coating of retaining/noise walls, and to work on various punch list items. This night work will continue weekly from Sunday through Thursday during the month of February and March. At times this work may require the temporary closure of exit or entrance ramps from I-24 West and East to North and South Terrace. During these nighttime hours from Sunday (3/1) to Thursday (3/5), the contractor will also need to temporarily close the I-24 West entrance ramp from Germantown Road and the I-24 East exit ramp (Exit 183) to Germantown Road to repair and repave shoulders along the ramps. Message boards, signs and detours will be provided to warn motorists of all these ramp closures and to guide them to the next available exit or entrance ramp. The contractor will have daytime lane closures (9 AM to 3 PM) on North and South Terrace for various repairs, and to paint/texture coat retaining/noise walls. This work is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday, weather permitting, and will occur weekly through February and into March until completed. As this work on North and South Terrace progresses it will be necessary to temporarily close exit and entrance ramps from I-24 so that crews can safely paint these areas. Message boards, signs and detours will be provided to warn motorists of these closures and to guide them to the next available exit or entrance ramp. The contractor plans to begin working on shifting and opening all lanes on I-75 North in their final alignment starting Tuesday (2/24) with the area from south of the bridge over the CSX railroad (MM 2) to the East Brainerd Road interchange (MM 3). There will be nighttime lane closures (9 PM to 6 AM) on I-75 North, and during this work the exit ramp from I-75 North to East Brainerd Road (Exit 3A) will be temporarily closed to safely remove conflicting lane lines and establish the new final traffic lane alignment. Message boards, signs and detours will be provided to warn motorists of these closures and to guide them to an available exit ramp detour from I-75 North to East Brainerd Road. Then on Friday (2/27) and Saturday (2/28) night (9 PM to 6 AM) the contractor will work on opening and shifting lanes at the junction of I-24 East (Exit 185B) and I-75 North. This traffic change will require repaving several traffic lanes along with removing conflicting lane lines and realigning traffic lanes. To safely perform this work, it will be necessary to temporarily close and detour the traffic from the Tennessee Welcome Center to I-75 North. Message boards and signs will be provided to guide welcome center traffic to I-75 North. Nightly (9 PM to 6 AM) lane closures will occur on I-75 North and South from Sunday (3/1) through Thursday (3/5) next week as the contractor performs finishing work (grinding, repairs, sawing and sealing joints, etc.) on the concrete pavement in preparation for final striping. As this work progresses it will be necessary to temporarily close exit and entrance ramps to and from I-75 so that crews can safely work in these areas. Message boards, signs and detours will be provided to warn motorists of these closures and to guide them to the next available exit or entrance ramp. Most of the remaining work items on this project are temperature and weather sensitive. If any of them are canceled due to inclement conditions, they will be rescheduled to take place on the next available day and time when adequate conditions exist. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at the Hamilton Place Mall interchange: The SR-153 southbound ramp to I-75 northbound has been reduced to one lane. Traffic shifts have been implemented on I-75 northbound, Shallowford Road entrance ramps, and Shallowford Road exit ramps and Hamilton Place Mall exit ramp. Hamilton Loop Road is closed for retaining wall construction and storm drainage installation between the intersections near Markman’s Jewelers and Texas Roadhouse. On 02/26/26 from 10 PM to 6 AM the contractor will close I-75 NB Exit 5 Ramp to Shallowford Road for bridge beam erection. On 03/02/26-03/05/26 from 10 PM to 6 AM the contractor will close I-75 NB Exit 5 Ramp to Shallowford Road for bridge beam erection. On 03/02/26 from 8 PM to 6 AM the contractor will close 2 left lanes on I-75 NB from MM 4.8 to MM 7.0 for removal of temporary barrier rail from the median. On 03/03/26 from 8 PM to 6 AM the contractor will close 2 left lanes on I-75 SB from MM 7.2 to MM 5.0 for removal of temporary barrier rail from the median. On 03/04/26 or 03/05/26, depending upon weather, beginning at 8 PM the contractor will close 2 right lanes from MM 7.6 to MM 5.7 to allow for the construction of the proposed I-75 SB Exit 5 ramp. This traffic shift will leave the 3 left lanes of I-75 SB open. Traffic will remain in this alignment for approximately 6-8 months. The speed limit has been reduced on I-75 throughout the project limits. Nightly lane closures are permitted 8 PM to 6 AM. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 TDOT Bridge Inspection both directions from MM 8.41 to MM 8.54: TDOT Bridge Inspection will be performing a bridge inspection over the Friar Branch bridge on I-75 on Sunday Morning 03/01/26 830 AM until 03/01/26 @ 1 PM. This will affect all lanes of traffic as TDOT will be closing two lanes at a time in both directions. We would like to start with the two slow lanes north bound for phase 1. The 2 slow lanes south bound for phase 2. The 2 fast lanes north bound for phase 3. The 2 fast lanes south bound for the 4th and final phase.

HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 70 between Coran Road and SR 66: SR 70 is closed to thru traffic and detoured around this bridge replacement project over the railroad. This project is estimated to be completed on or before April 30, 2027.

JACKSON COUNTY SR-135 (DODSON BRANCH HWY.) TDOT Maintenance northbound from LM 11.8 to LM 12.0: SR135 will be reduced to one lane due to a soil nail project until the project is completed. Traffic signals are in place. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution when in the area.

JACKSON COUNTY SR-53 [17.46-17.6] from south of Hurricane Branch to Near Hurricane Branch Lane culvert replacement: The contractor has begun vegetation clearing adjacent to the roadway. Flaggers may be used intermittently as needed to control traffic through the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, be aware of new traffic signs and pavement markings, and watch for construction equipment and personnel throughout the project. KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Exit 112 Emory Road: Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks on I-75 South beginning near Mile Marker 117 on various days between the hours of 12 Noon and 3 p.m. for blasting activities. Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures nightly between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning on the ramps at this exit as crews perform roadway construction activities on this DDI project. KNOX COUNTY, I-75 North near Exit 108 Merchants Drive: Motorist should be alert for brief rolling roadblocks on I-75 North beginning near Mile Marker 108 on February 27, 2026, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for blasting activities.
