WHITE COUNTY DEPUTIES NAB SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT ONE DAY LATER USING FLOCK LPR SYSTEM
On May 16, 2026, White County deputies apprehended Caleb Horn one day after he and a female accomplice allegedly committed a shoplifting incident at Lazy Days Market. According to the report, the woman blocked the cashier’s view while Horn concealed a vape package in his pocket and left without paying.
Strong cooperation from the business, including access to its multi-camera surveillance system, enabled deputies to quickly identify Horn’s vehicle and obtain its tag number. The county’s Flock Safety Automated License Plate Recognition (LPR) system was then used to locate the vehicle the following day, leading to his safe arrest. Horn has a documented history of violence.
The White County Sheriff’s Office noted that the matter remains an active judicial case and that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
