WHITED FOUND GUILTY OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE IN DEATH OF HIS SON
A Morgan County man charged with the death of his teenage son has entered a plea of guilty to charges. Court officials say 37-year-old Scott Douglas Whited of Oakdale was found guilty of vehicular homicide and DUI. The incident took place in July 2017 where Whited was driving a truck intoxicated near Oakdale School when his son, 14-year-old Zackary Manis, fell out the bed of the truck and later passed away. Whited will be sentenced soon in court.
