WOMAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF METH

On Saturday, Deputy Caleb Charles was patrolling the area of West Ave at just after midnight when a Black Honda CRV made an abrupt maneuver into his lane of travel causing him to swerve and hit the brakes. The vehicle then crossed the center line of the roadway twice.
Deputy Charles conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver identified as Stephanie Floyd.
When asked, Floyd said she had a small amount of Marijuana in the vehicle.
Floyd was ordered out of the vehicle and asked once again if she had any drugs, to which she admitted to having a small amount of Methamphetamine with the Marijuana.
A search of the vehicle found .47g of Methamphetamine, half of a white oval pill of Gabapentin and approximately 11g of Marijuana. Floyd was taken into custody and transported to CCSO evidence for booking where she was charged with Simple Possession of Methamphetamine, and Simple Possession of Schedule V.
