On Thursday, Cumberland County officers responded to Shadberry Drive in reference to a possible wreck with injury. Upon arrival, Shelbi Smith was in a blue Kia off to the side of the roadway. According to the police report, she was traveling on Shadberry towards Dunbar Road when a white Chevy truck traveling at a high rate of speed was in her lane and she swerved off the road to avoid a collision. Once the truck passed, it continued toward Lantana Road and did not stop nor make contact with Ms. Smith.

A report was made to document the incident. No damages were reported.
