WOMAN PULLED OVER WITH BLACK BALL CONTAINING METH

On Friday last week, Deputy Steven Richardson of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office stopped a 2007 silver Chevrolet for failure to maintain Lane well and also having a busted outside brake light. During the traffic stop at Obed Plaza, Richardson identified the driver as Jaime Boles.
Jaime is described in the report as being nervous and hunched over holding a black ball that was taped shut. The driver was ordered to step out of the vehicle and she explained that she was attempting to take her dog to use the bathroom in the median while trying to conceal said object.
When asked what the object was, Jaime said that it contained meth. She was placed in handcuffs, read her Miranda warnings, and agreed to talk without a lawyer. She explained that she just picked it up and all that was in it was “a ball or two of meth”.
A search of the vehicle would uncover a large number of small plastic bags. Boles would be transported to the Cumberland County Jail for processing.
The black ball of electrical tape would be opened at the Sheriff’s Office and inside was around 9.3 g of meth.
Jaime Boles would be charged with manufacture, delivery, sale, or possession of meth.
