According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, on Monday, at 12:28 p.m. a 2024 Ford F350 truck driven by Zathian Isaac Early was traveling west on Highway 70 East from Renegade Mountain Parkway. Early was passing other vehicles and merging back into the westbound lane.

While negotiating a left curve, he lost control and ran off the roadway to the right.

The truck traveled through the ditch line striking a standing tree and boulder then overturning onto the driver’s side.

Early sustained injuries in the wreck, and was charged with Driving Under the Influence, as well as having an open container in the vehicle.
