11-YEAR-OLD HIT AND KILLED BY TRAIN IN ANTIOCH

An 11-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a train yesterday. Authorities say Max Baker was on a railroad bridge near his Waikiki Boulevard home. Baker was struck on the overpass next to Franklin Limestone Road near Antioch Pike. The train operator saw Baker but was not able to stop in time. Officers say the incident appears to have been accidental. The investigation is ongoing.
