It appears the coverage area is going to jump from winter into spring like conditions in the next 24 hours. Along with the jump will come a good chance for flooding and possible severe weather Tuesday.

A strong weather system will work its way up out of the gulf coast into the coverage area very early tomorrow morning (Monday, March 2, 2020). Early estimates of rainfall range from 2 to 4 inches from Monday morning through early Thursday morning (March 5, 2020)

Motorists should allow extra time in going to their destinations as the weather starting tomorrow will cause delays in the area.

The National Weather Service says a flood watch is likely to be issued by tomorrow morning as the ground is soggy from recent rain and snowfall.
