12 YEAR OLD DIES AFTER HUNTING ACCIDENT

CEDAR HILL, TN (WSMV) – A 12-year-old boy has died following a hunting accident in a field behind Three Feathers Hunting Preserve in Cedar Hill Sunday.  According to Smokey Barn News, the call came in to police at 2:49 p.m. Sunday.  Smokey Barn News is reporting that a firearm accidentally discharged and the boy was shot in the lower abdominal area. Officials have not released where the boy was from.  The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is currently in charge of the investigation.

Three Feathers Hunting Preserve is located at 6110 Smith Road in Cedar Hill.  According to their website, the Three Feathers Hunting Preserve has been in business for 10 years. They provide guided quail, chukar and pheasant hunts in Cedar Hill.
