CROSSVILLIAN ESCAPES INJURY IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON I-40
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle accident Thursday on I-40 in Roane County. The report released today states a 2015 Peterbilt tractor-trailer operated by 56-year-old Donald R. Johnson of Temple Hills, Maryland, and a 2021 Jeep Renegade driven by 30-year-old Nicolette Thomas of Crossville were both heading east near the 342 mile marker in a construction zone. The report states Thomas slowed for approaching congested traffic and was rear ended by Johnson. Both drivers were restrained and escaped injury in the crash.
