15-YEAR-OLD CHARGED AFTER ACCIDENTALLY SHOOTING 18-YEAR-OLD
Police say a 15-year-old girl has been charged with reckless endangerment in Morristown, Tennessee, after she accidentally shot an 18-year-old male. Officers were called to an apartment complex on Cleveland Avenue, where the female was visiting when she found a .38 caliber handgun. She reportedly was handling the gun when she accidentally fired it, hitting 18-year-old Trevoke Barnes in the neck. He was flown to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The girl was taken to the Hamblen County juvenile facility.
